Assassin Creed Protagonist Bios
a rather stoic character, Ezio Auditore
da Firenze took a far more personal
journey. Born into a noble family in
Florence, Ezio Auditore da Firenze spent
his youth living a carefree, luxury
lifestyle. However, his world
was changed completely
when his father and two
brothers were hanged in
front of him at the age of
17. Along with his mother
and sister, Ezio was forced
to flee his home to the Villa
Auditore, Monteriggioni. He
then learned of his Assassin
heritage from his uncle,
Mario Auditore, and began his
Assassin training.
Upon completing his training,
Ezio set about getting revenge
on those who betrayed his
family. This quest led to Ezio
meeting - and working with legendary historical figures
such as Leonardo Da Vinci
and Niccolò Machiavelli, as
well as facing off against
the man responsible for
the deception, Rodrigo
Borgia, better known as
Pope Alexander VI. After
sneaking into the Vatican and
disarming the Pope of his two
Pieces of Eden, Ezio descended
into a Vault beneath the Sistine
Chapel. Here, he encountered
a hologram figure named
Minerva who explained
that she was from an

advanced civilisation who were wiped out
by a solar flare and warned that the same
may happen to mankind.
Later in his life, Ezio ventured to explore
the history of the Assassin Order.
To do so, Ezio travelled
to Constantinople and
obtained the five Masyaf
keys
which,
when
combined,
granted
access to a hidden
library beneath the old
Assassin Stronghold.
To Ezio’s surprise,
the library didn’t
contain historical
books about the
Brotherhood.
Instead, he found
an Apple of
Eden, guarded
by the body of
Altaïr, who built
the library and
died protecting its
secret.
Ezio left the Apple where
it lay, deciding that he’d
had enough adventure
for one life. He later
retired, and lived out
the rest of his years in a
Tuscan villa with his wife
and two children. Ezio
died of a heart attack at
the age of 65 while on a
trip to Florence with his
family.
