ABOUT: CREATIVE ASSEMBLEY

Founded in 1987 and well-known as the developer of strategy games, Creative Assembly originally
began in England with five people. The company has grown to over 300 since its purchase by Sega,
allowing them to focus on the strategy giant Total War. However, they created a new team to focus
on one project - Alien: Isolation.

ABOUT: SEGA

Originally founded in 1940, Sega as we know it began creating videogame consoles in 1982 with the
SG-1000. They were a strong contender in the Console Wars, bringing out the Master System, Mega
Drive/Genesis, Saturn and Dreamcast. However, when their fortunes fell in consoles, with the more
powerful and popular Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox, they turned their sights on software.
They have becoming the publisher for many of the best known videogame series including Sonic
The Hedgehog and Virtua Fighter, as well as the Aliens franchise. They have many subsidiary
developers across the globe including Atlus, Relic Entertainment and Creative Assembly.
