ahrain International Circuit (BIC) will tonight
host the first in a series of popular Drag and
Drift Nights at “the Home of Motorsport in the
Middle East.”
The region’s top drivers
are expected to return to BIC’s
world-class facility in Sakhir
to put their skills to the test in
the highly popular motorsport
activity.
Tonight’s Drag activity
gives participants a chance
to test out their own cars or
bikes on BIC’s 1.2km Drag
strip, which is affiliated with
the National Hot Rod Association’s (NHRA) worldwide
programme. In the Drifting
activity, motorists will put their
control and manoeuvring skills
to the test as they navigate
around the sharp turns of the
especially-prepared drifting
course.

Drag racing is considered the ultimate choice when it comes to testing
out a car’s horsepower. Drifting, meanwhile, requires the participant to
demonstrate an elevated degree of control and handling to be effectively carried out.
Guests have the option to participate in one or both of tonight’s
exciting activities. The Drag and Drift double-header can be enjoyed
for a fee of BD10; while participating in just the drag or the drifting will
cost BD7.
