Schools and LEAs

The National Association for Amateur Radio, Award is $1,500. Deadline is November 1. School Station Grants are awarded for the purpose of purchasing

equipment to set up a school amateur radio station.

Red Ribbon Photo Contest, Award is an iPad and $1,000. Deadline is November 2. Schools, decorate your SCHOOL campus with a Red Ribbon (double looped) and this year’s theme: “Your Future Is Key, So Stay Drug Free.

Kinder Morgan, Awards vary. Deadline is November 10. Benefits K-12 youth and focuses on science, math, art, and music. Programs will help students become engineers, educators, and musicians who will support diverse communities in the future.

American Academy of Dermatology, Award is $8,000. Deadline is November 17. Provides a shade structure to public schools and nonprofits. The shade structure must be permanently installed for outdoor locations that are not protected from the sun, such as playgrounds, pools, or recreation space.

Conservation Education Grants, Awards from $5,000 to $25,000. Deadline is November 30. Supports four major areas of focus: species research; habitat protection; conservation education; and animal rescue and rehabilitation.

Lily Sarah Grace Foundation, Award is $450. Deadline is November 30. Supports Title I K-5 school projects that utilize Arts-Infused Inquiry-Based Learning to teach the 5Cs: Creativity; Critical Thinking; Collaboration; Communications; and Community.

“Light the Way” Grant, Award is $3,000. Deadline is December 1. Assists a library in conducting exemplary outreach to underserved populations through a new program or an expansion of work being done.

Safer Brand Garden Grant, Award is $500. Deadline is December 1. Supports students to develop and/or maintain an onsite garden and build healthy habits.

California Wellness Foundation, Awards vary. Rolling Deadline for Letter of Interest. Focuses its grant making on promoting employment and asset-building opportunities and increasing education opportunities for resilient youth ages 14 to 26 who are in or have exited the juvenile or adult criminal justice systems.

Project School Emergency Response to Violence (SERV), Awards up to $50,000. Rolling Deadline. Supports programs for short-term and long-term education-related services for educational institutes that have experienced a violent or traumatic event.

Student Attire for Education (SAFE) Program, Award is $2,500 to buy school uniforms. Rolling Deadline. Benefits Title I public elementary schools that have mandatory school uniform policies.
