J.M. Kaplan Fund, Awards from $1,500 to $15,000. Deadline is September 1. Supports nonfiction book publishing about the urban experience; natural and historic resources; art, architecture, and design; cultural history; and civil liberties.

Calvin K. Kazanjian Economics Foundation, Awards up to $150,000. Deadline is September 15.

American Psychological Association - Pearsall American Psychological Association - Pearsall Grant Program, Award is $10,000. Deadline is October 1. Supports a graduate student or early career psychologists whose work seeks to increase the public’s understanding of psychological pain and stigma.
