Falling in Love with New Orleans
Fall is the time when the French Quarter is eerie with mystery and rebirth . Amidst the haunting architecture lie the art galleries and studios of some of the world ’ s most renowned artists and galleries . Our alluring and mystical courtyards and restaurants are serving up their latest dishes specifically for this enchanting time of the year .
In October we celebrate the new and the rejuvenated , along with the undead . Halloween starts gearing up as shop windows decorate with a haunting flair and voodoo shops whip up their latest potions luring , you in .
New Orleans has demonstrated repeatedly that our people possess the inner strength and resolve to quickly recover , survive , adapt , and grow no matter what stresses we experience . Our resilience is remarkable and we continue to demonstrate our joie de vivre in our joy of conversation . Our philosophy of life , a laid back laissez-faire attitude , brings people from all over the world to our fair city to indulge in the good life … a life filled with joy , great food , friends , music , and our warm Southern hospitality .
