Happy Spring , Frederick !
LETTER from the editor
Though Frederick County is truly beautiful no matter the time of year , springtime is especially gorgeous around these parts . As nature comes alive in vibrant color , a drive or walk through your favorite Frederick County town is in order .
While the City of Frederick ’ s Baker Park is always a good bet for finding a variety of colorful trees and flowers and wonderful walking and biking trails , don ’ t rule out a trip further south , to the historic City of Brunswick .
Brunswick is truly a city in transition from its storied railroad past to its promising future , with many new residents and a burgeoning downtown business scene . Check out our feature on the City of Brunswick , starting on Page 60 . This feature is the first of many to come in each edition of The Frederick County Guide . In every issue , we will focus on a different town in Frederick County , discussing the many wonderful details that makes each locale unique .
Of course , we also have all of our other regular sections , guiding readers through Education , History , Seniors , Child and Youth Activities , Health and more !
Have fun reading this issue , and get out there to explore Frederick County during the best season of the year !
