Another similarity between the fordist production model and the mobile phones is that both focus on the standardization of the products. It's good to make it clear that the nowadays phones can have their particularities (that vary according to the consumer's wishes), but independently of their external differences, they always have the same utility.
In relation to the phones' industries, that look for proximity with the consumer market, there's relation with the fordism too.
