Italian Outing

As part of their Italian culture and language the Grade 6 Italian students went to Valletta to a Sicilian restaurant to eat an Italian meal and order their food in Italian, and looked at Italian influence in the streets.

What the students said:

‘Mi piace come le persone di il ristorante parlare con noi in italiano’

‘I think field trips should happen more often, I know they stopped because of Covid, but now it’s time to start over’

‘If I were to rate our visit I would rate a 10/10 for the cibo e bevande, and for the service I would rate a 10/10 as well, they were really nice to all of us! Mi piace vaniglia gelato’

‘Valletta has a lot of Italian things such as: restaurants, culture, shops and Italian speaking people’

‘On Monday we went to a fancy restaurant..I had a fantastic time and I hope to go again.’

‘We were in a basement with stone walls, it was exciting and strange to go out’ - Ms Lucienne Agius
