ES Principal

The past few months have seen many exciting events transpire in the Elementary School. We continued to explore our Diversity and Inclusion Themes, celebrated Carnival and hosted an internationally recognized literacy consultant. During this time, we dug into the concepts of BIPOC and physical and mental health, wore our favorite masks to school and took a deep dive into the area of literacy and how to support student learning. While Covid-19 has been a headwind, the Elementary School persevered through the peak of the pandemic and our Verdala character and values shone through. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff, parents and students who have shown incredible grit and fortitude during this time. The journey of celebrating diversity and inspiring and empowering future generations continues to be the guiding light for our school and the following articles and pages are just a few examples of how we live our mission every day.
