Ms Sarah Boylin

It has been a very busy few months in Middle School, with a shift to distance learning for some of our students whilst we navigated both the substation works and the challenges of Covid-19. However, that has not stopped us - we have been ever resilient and there has still been a lot going on in MS. Our students have just received their Semester 1 reports and it has been wonderful to see so many of our students achieve either honours or high honours, celebrating their positive attitude towards their learning. Likewise, we have also seen a number of our students receive IMYC VIS value awards in communication, resilience, thoughtfulness, morality, co-operation, enquiry, respect and adaptability. Within advisory our students have explored both Women's history and BIPOC month and have been involved in presentations from members of the community and have researched more to deepen their understanding. This is such an important area of discussion and I have been impressed with the way our MS students have approached these sessions. As we continue into Semester 2 I look forward to seeing all MS students continue to make great progress in all areas!
