The film industry, although fun at times, was all consuming and I began to search for a better work-life balance. I took the skills that I had developed, (communication, networking, diplomacy), and landed in the world of sales in London. I worked for an awesome start up, and though thrown in at the deep end, it was the best way to learn. A couple of years in a fast paced sales role, enabled me to take a hiatus and travel the world with my partner for 7 months.
Our travels took us to New Zealand, Australia and South East Asia but on returning to the UK, we knew we had to emigrate; New Zealand our chosen new home. Since moving to NZ, I have worked as a Business Development Representative and most recently an Account Executive for Adobe, selling their data and insights products. I’ve finally found my work - life balance, I live one minute from the sea, I work from home and I finally got the puppy I’d always dreamt of!
