I am excited to become a part of your wonderful community. When first meeting my new students, I usually say: ‘If you can pronounce my Greek surname, then this year's lessons will be a piece of cake!’ It is so much easier than it looks, so likewise I am sure that we will have a great and productive relationship ahead of us.

The new school year brings with it much excitement. From a new class, to meeting new students, there is plenty to look forward to! A much anticipated event here at VIS is meeting our new teachers. Wishing them a warm welcome, discover more about our new staff for the next scholastic year.

FEATURE

I have been teaching Physics, Sciences and Mathematics for several years now in the U.K., Greece and more recently Malta. I am half Greek, half Iranian, having family members in almost every part of the world. Travelling is something I enjoy immensely as well as learning new skills and meeting new people and cultures.

I also love all sports, having a strong inclination for football and basketball. I like watching films, discovering and eating good food and going on long walks with my dog.

I’m originally from a small town in the US an hour south of Seattle. I met my husband Ethan in college and after grad school we served as Peace Corps Volunteers in Mali. We then moved back to the the States and lived have a great and productive relationship ahead of us.
