HIGHLIGHTS
As part of Earth Day 2021, VIS supported the ‘My Actions Matter’ campaign as part of Eco Schools and FEE. The campaign was split into 3 themes:
1: Protect Global Biodiversity
2: Reduce Environmental Pollution
3: Empower Climate Action
Each day we shared an activity and video clips from the Treasure Earth App with the entire school community. These activities linked to the theme of the week and educated and encouraged people to consider their actions on a daily basis.
We are hopeful that these ideas resonated with the school community and that in some way impacted many of us to think about how we could change our behaviours in a small but positive way.
It is however, important that this is not a ‘once only event’ and that families and individuals continue to think about their actions and take responsibility for impact on the planet.
We will continue to expose these ideas to the school community in the future as part of our intention to achieve Green Flag status in the future.
