teach. I come from the western part of the States and have lived in California, Nevada, Washington and Utah. Internationally I have taught in Mali, Japan, Cameroon, and India. My family and I are really excited about exploring Malta and getting to know the students at VIS.

I will return next year as an Elementary Teacher. Originally from Missouri, USA, I have taught in Taiwan, the Dominican Republic, Malta, and, most recently, Portugal. I enjoyed contributing to the teamwork, positivity, and humor of VIS, and I am looking forward to rejoining the dynamic community. I crave movement (such as running, hiking, or dancing), but also make time to consume the latest news about politics, celebrities, and technology. Learning is a passion of mine, and I know I do it best when I make connections with the people around me. I can't wait to see both new and familiar faces!

Zack Berg
I am originally from Wisconsin in the USA. I have taught PE in the Dominican Republic, Morocco, and, currently, Portugal. I am looking forward to joining the Secondary PE team at VIS. I love all things active, but my favorites are running, hiking, and any type of sport with my friends. If I am not being active, I enjoy traveling, reading, and catching up on podcasts, politics, or the newest Netflix show. I am excited to return to island life and experience all Malta has to offer. I look forward to bringing excitement, positivity, and fun to the VIS community!
