I am really looking forward to moving to Malta this year and relishing the prospect of joining the Modern Foreign Languages department at VIS. I am originally from Lincolnshire in the UK and taught in various places before moving to France, with our young family at that time, where we lived for several years. The last twelve years have been spent in Dubai, where I have loved teaching and communicating my passion for languages, as well as watching our three children blossom. Now that the last of our three is heading off to university, I am thrilled and delighted to be taking on a new and invigorating challenge at VIS. I am an avid sports fan, although my playing days are well and truly behind me, but still enjoy cycling and running, and living in the UAE has allowed me to indulge in my other passions of music and travel. I am so excited about joining Verdala and look forward to meeting everyone!

I started my overseas journey back in 1996 and I’ve had the good fortune to live and work in Spain, Colombia, Ukraine, China and Peru. My journey overseas has helped me to appreciate the bonds and connections between people regardless of their origins. I’m an Individuals and Societies Teacher and I have been an MYP coordinator, Head of Grade and Head of Department in my previous schools. I’m married to Silvia who will be teaching DP Spanish and our son, Sebastian will enter fourth grade. I love being close to nature and being outdoors. My hobbies include cycling, hiking, going out for breakfast and visiting art galleries and museums. As a family we are extremely excited about our move and we are very much looking forward to exploring the main island of Malta and its archipelago and discovering the islands rich cultural identity and heritage. lived have a great and productive relationship ahead of us.
