Happy Spring! A season of much excitement, warmer weather and a taste of summer. Before schools were told to close, the VIS atmosphere reflected this joyous season, with more activities held outdoors. Take a look at the Highlights at VIS on pages 19, 25 and 33. As you flick through the pages you will see that curriculum takes centre stage with 'Fun' being the main theme: the English department in secondary held a Reading Rocks competition (18, 24); the IMYC celebrated Black History month and Valentine's Day (21, 22), while the Grade 5s built a rocket that could deliver supplies from Earth to a space station (28). The PE department has also set a challenge for the VIS community (38). And if being on lockdown means spending too many hours hunched at your desk, try their 6 simple stretches on pages 9 and 10. Meanwhile, on the front cover we have a serene work of art, this time from Middle School. Nola Laryea, was asked to make an original piece of art inspired by famous artists.

Happy Reading and Happy Holidays!
