Despite the ongoing challenges with Covid, the ES Eco Council has managed to work together to build some meaningful actions, both here at school and in the community.

Grade 3 have been working on an ‘Eco Motiff’ and ‘Eco Slogan’ for use across the school.

Grade 4 continues to develop our ES garden with the support of Miss Dot, Miss Nic and Miss Alex. The space is looking wonderful and fresh with peas plants, carrots and beetroot all working towards harvest season.

Grade 5 have been working on a local project at school that will be displayed at Pembroke Garden.

The project is a piece of art that will be made out of bottle caps following the theme of ‘Under the Sea’. The project will raise awareness of our waste and how we can make meaningful things out of plastic waste.

We are all inspired by what the students are doing from an environmental perspective and hope that our actions will spread more awareness of how we all need to consider our behaviours to reduce any negative impact on the environment.
