Although I am still a Verdala student, I have a job. Since October 2020, I have been working at the MSPCA in Floriana.

I have loved animals since I was 7 and for a long time, my mother has been suggesting that an animal related job would be good for me as, amongst many things, it would help me to feel more confident about becoming more mature.

On Sunday, October 11th, my Mother and I went along to the MSPCA to see what it’s all about and we discovered it was even better than we had expected.

What does MSPCA stand for and what do they do?

The MSPCA (Malta society for the prevention of cruelty to animals) is an animal rescue shelter in Floriana, Malta, not to be confused with the MSPCA in other countries and organizations. It is one of several SPCA animal sanctuaries dedicated to rescuing and rehoming stray pets.
