IMYC Entry Points - Mr Richard Price

Grade 6 learned about structures within their Big Idea. For their Entry point they were set the challenge of building the tallest tower using only spaghetti and marshmallows, Congratulations to Diana of 6V for making the tallest tower in the Grade at a height of 82cm! Students then discussed what is needed for a structure to be successful, both buildings and the structure of schools, businesses and society.
Grade 7 focused on the different forms of relationships that are present in our lives and looking into how each relationship can affect us and shape who we are.
Grade 8 participated in the big idea of Entrepreneurship. Over the past 8 weeks they have been developing their own business proposals and preparing a pitch for their concepts, in the hope of becoming the next big entrepreneur. Student pitches included online customised cupcakes, an app to help with mental health and more.
