In this activity, students were asked to synthesize their knowledge on the units covered in technology classes. The prefix 'syn' means together. When students synthesized their knowledge on the unit, they were challenged but they learned how to pull out the most important points from their learning and combined it with further research. They synthesized their learning, in other words, combined their research findings with their knowledge, understanding and skills.

Creation of digital posters aims to combine information technology with a 'traditional' poster appearance thus retaining the static image and at the same time releasing the full interactive potential of the medium. To convey the information, students used a range of visual techniques, illustrations, visuals, and even audio recordings and videos. They embedded their audio recordings and videos by using the QR codes in their posters. Grade 6 students embedded their electronic books and printed the QR codes next to their book covers for visitors to scan and read their books.

They had a lot of fun and they put a lot of effort in their work. They are now waiting for visitors to come along and have a look at them. Please, stop by the library or the computer lab to check them out and be ready to scan them with your phones!
