WHOLE SCHOOL
Our group, Recycling art, is a club that uses recycled materials to create ART. We've done a lot of projects so far. The tire chairs in the garden are one of our works. Also, since we are the only art club in VIS, the background of the theatre is also our job!
We worked out a project to paint old chairs. First, we used abandoned chairs which have been in the library for a long time. By painting used chairs, we were able to take a step closer to our goal of "recycling”. We got the ideas for design from VIS students! From kindergarten to high school students, they brought various ideas. When we get a design from them, we actually move it to a chair. We sold some of chairs at the Christmas market, and we are planning to sell them again soon. It is meaningful that we can combine students’ creativity with environment.
With these projects, it is a great opportunity to think about recycling and the environment. Our club works for the environment. It may not have much effect, but our efforts will have a small impact on the Earth!
