This is a great rig for the Fluke lure but you can use small swimbaits and or worm lures as well. Let's make sure we understand how to set it up right. First you slid a barrel swivel on the main line then tie another barrel swivel to the main line trapping the first swivel in the main line.

Next you will need to tie a leader to each swivel. One leader will be about 15” to 20” long and the second leader will be 20” to 25” long. For this rig to work right you need to be sure that the leader tied to the main swivel is the longer of the 2 leaders. The shorter leader will be tied on the trapped swivel. At the ends of each leader tie on a weightless worm hook and then slide on your fluke or lure of your choice.

This rig can be used to mimic a school of bait fish. While it is only 2 lures on one line when it is bounced and jigged it begins to look like a small school of bait fish swimming erratically. If you have not tried this yet maybe it is time.

Twin Rig

Double Rig
