Editor's Note

full year has passed since the inaugural year of the Give Light Initiative. There has been such a positive response about the program from Trinity employees. We've had an opportunity to work with various organizations all around the Atlanta area. Many have been impressed with our company, its culture and its rare outward expression of faith. We have had the chance to touch the lives of many. Not only have we impacted the spirit of others, but some of us have ignited spirit of true service within ourselves. As Children of the Most High God, we are to act in love. Our spirits are to reflect whom we were made in the image of.

As a company, we are asked to work and interact with our customers with a servant's heart. Now, we have extended that same belief outside the walls of our communities to those we might have never come in contact with otherwise, but who are also in need of people with a servant's heart. In the Bible, Christ tells us that we are the light of the world. And we are not to hide our light, but to display it every chance we get. The light (goodness) is to shine, so that our good deeds are seen and those who have witnessed will give glory to whom it belongs, our heavenly Father.

As we continue on the path this season with the expansion of 'The Give Light Initiative', search within yourself to understand the program's true purpose and its reward. Serving others is parallel to extending love and light, which is in accordance to God's desire for us all. As it relates to our roles within Trinity, we must understand that God has positioned us at this time to be a light to each and every customer who lives within our walls and who walks through the doors of our communities.

Matthew 5:16 KJV:" In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works, and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. "

God is Light. God is Love.
