B y now, we have all heard about the benefits of juicing and consuming vegetable and fruit smoothies. Both are a very easy way to reach the suggested daily intake of fruits and vegetable. Plus, smoothies and juicing both have its share of wellness benefits which include aiding in regulating blood sugar, lowering cholesterol, boosting metabolism and energy levels and slimming the waist line.

Leafy greens like kale, spinach, and swiss chard are a very popular addition to fruit smoothies. Seeds like chia and flaxseeds are also popular additions. Certain seeds will assist with digestion and metabolism and are also packed with the much needed Omega 3s that fight cancer causing free radicals. Powders like hemp, super greens and proteins added to a smoothie will also increase its healthful benefits. Alkalizing nuts like almonds and walnuts and the extremely beneficial.
