The Bond Indigenous Awareness Society would like to sincerely
thank the Bond University Faculty of Law who have constantly
supported and promoted Indigenous awareness, social justice
and of course BIAS
Since its inception into the Bond University community BIAS has
been supported by the staff, students and alumni of the Faculty
of Law who have shown their dedication to ending the
disadvantage Indigenous people face in many forms.
The Sunland Foundation and Bond Law liaise to provide the
Sunland Foundation Scholarship, which gives one Bond student
the opportunity to study law with accommodation, meals and
student fees covered.
In both 2010 and 2011, the Faculty of Law has supported the BIAS
Social Justice Trip, which sent 15 Bond students to an Indigenous
boarding school in Far North Queensland.
In addition, Bond Law has shown its dedication by bringing Uncle
Bill Harney onto the campus to promote Indigenous law and
culture.
With sincerity, the Bond Indigenous Awareness Society would like
to thank the Faculty of Law.
