Over the years, I have developed recipes to streamline Indian and Indian fusion foods so they are quick and easy to make. I also strive to make my recipes healthy without compro- mising on taste. “ I gravitate towards warm and com- forting rice- so dal chawal with pickle, khichadi or yogurt rice are my favorite comfort foods. An important change that you would love to see or bring in the " Indian Food Industry "....? Ans) I would like to see In- dian food be more main- stream in various parts of the world. A common misconception about In- dian cuisine that you would like to change among FOOD LOVERS.....? Ans) Here in the USA, people feel that Indian food is very heavy with all the cream sauces and deep fried foods because most of the Indian restaurants in the US serve that type of food. I would like people to know that we have such a rich vari- ety of healthy foods from all over India. Which according to you is the most relishing meal during the course of the day...? Ans) I love a nice leisurely lunch!
