Take care of your participants...Having said that, do take
of your own body too, don’t get
to the point of burnout! Even if
you are an instructor , you must
exercise to be fit.
Conducting too many classes
back to back might set you towards getting repetitive stress injuries. So take care. As for your
participant, find out what their
goals are so you can help them
achieve it.
Treat everyone equally in a
class. The first thing any instructor must do before you even star
to teach is to get a CPR/AED
and First Aid certificate. This will
help you to understand what you
need if some untoward incident
happens in your class. You might
be able to save a life. At the
same time you must also get a
Primary Group Instructor Certificate if you are teaching in a
group or a Personal Trainer Certificate if you are teaching a one
to one Personal Training. You
may have a Speciality Workshop
certificate to teach classes like
Zumba, Bokwa , Piloxing , TRX
or any other programs, however
it is really important to obtain a
proper Fitness Certificate because it teaches you techniques,
leadership, safe & effective
method of exercise, it teaches
you how the body works and
many important things involved
in being a Fitness Teacher. Let

Let me put it this way: If you have only
the speciality workshop cert and you are
teaching it's like being an eye specialist
without doing your doctor's degree or
being an English teacher without a
teacher's trainer degree.
