Cheale Meats Ltd is a family owned business that has been running in excess of 50 years. The site operates on the original family farm that the has been owned and run since the 60‘s by the family. The business was originally started by Andrew the eldest Cheale brother and it was not long before his two brothers and sister joined the growing business. Their abattoir in Little Warley opened in 1970.
Nowadays the family involvement is still as strong as ever with the next generation coming through in all areas of the business to ensure efficiency, quality and consistent high standards for our customers farmers and suppliers.
Cheale’s also slaughter sows for export and home trade, we sell to processors that require the full range of approvals that we hold, BRC, BQAP, Red Tractor, IPPC.
