• FREE Giant Networking Evening - continue
your business and networking into the evening
after Day 1 of All-Energy. With well over a
thousand of the industry in attendance, the
renowned Giant Networking Evening (GNE)
allows guests to eat, drink and chat in an informal
atmosphere. Set this year in Glasgow’s Science
Centre (a short stroll from the SECC), the GNE is
guaranteed to provide both exhibitors and visitors
an evening of fantastic entertainment and warm
hospitality. Reservation not required.
• Glasgow Chamber of Commerce will host
two Warm-up Breakfasts, designed to
stimulate the Glasgow business community
ahead of the All-Energy Conference later that
day. The Chamber Warm-up Sessions, open to all
Glasgow Chamber of Commerce members and
their guests, will take on board a variety of
Chamber members from the Energy Community,
representing both large and small businesses
who will share their business story and
aspirations for the city moving forward. The
sessions will run from 07:15 – 08:45.

• The University of Strathclyde is hosting
special events during the week to complement
the conference programme. Make sure your
travel plans allow time to explore the campus
and take in the energy-related events from
Tuesday 5 May. The programme, part of Engage
with Strathclyde, will demonstrate with the
university's ability and commitment to developing
solutions to global energy challenges; a focus
which is at the heart of their research, and which

• The Glasgow Science Centre welcomes All
Energy to its new home at the SECC and is
delighted to have been chosen as the venue for
the All-Energy Giant Networking Evening.
Exciting plans are underway at the Science
Centre to host a public debate around the
‘energy-themes’ on the evening before AllEnergy opens.The debate is one of the
hig hlights in the Science Centre’s calendar of
activities linked to the launch, later this year, of
Powering the Future, a brand new interactive
exhibition which explores the wonders of
Science and Technology involved in energy
