Phil Stocker, NSA Chief Executive, receiving his
award from Rosie Carne, CARAS Chairman.
Phil was recognised for his work with
NSA to communicate key topics to sheep
farmers and raise the profile of the sector
outside of agriculture.
He said: “I really do feel honoured to
have been put forward for this prestigious
award which embraces not only practical
farming and the development of new
husbandry practices, but also research,
technology, economics, education,
communication and administration. I’d like
to thank the people who nominated me
for the award and look forward to being
involved in the activities carried out by the
societies.”

Dunlop wellies are well
known to be hard-wearing and
protective, providing comfort
for farmers on their feet for
long hours in what can be
very harsh conditions. Each
pair is lightweight, warm and
insulated.
NSA Chief Executive Phil
Stocker says: “We are thrilled
to be working with Dunlop
in this prize giveaway. This
is a fantastic product for
individuals who spend a lot of
time outdoors, exactly the kind
of thing members would be
happy to get their hands on. We
hope the lucky winners so far
make good use of the wellies
and can put them to work
straightaway.
