Versatility, Comfort
and Convenience
KRAMER 8085T
William Bainbridge, of Park
House, Wigton, Cumbria
Dairy farmer William
Bainbridge says his Kramer
8085T is a vast improvement
on what he was using before.
The visibility’s a lot better in
the Kramer: you can see what
you’re going to hit in this one,
but in the others you just hit
it!”
William runs Park House at
Wigton in Cumbria with his son
James. They have just over
300 head of cattle in total, a
herd that keeps them on their
toes.
The telehandler has done
almost 800 hours of work since
the Bainbridges took delivery
of it, and William estimates they
are sitting in its cab for about
25 or 30 hours a week. That
means comfort is an important
consideration, another feature
which makes the Kramer
superior to the farm’s previous
Machines.
KRAMER 2706
Abraham Jaeban, of Forth
House Farm, lsel, Cumbria
Abraham Jaeban runs Forth
House Farm at lsel, near
Cockermouth in Cumbria. He
has about 300 sheep and
13,000 free-range laying hens.
New 2706
Compact Telehandler
KRAMER 8085T
Before taking delivery of the
Kramer 2706 telescopic wheel
loader towards the end of last
year, the farm had to rely on
contractors to come in and help
with cleaning sheds.
“It’s very handy not to have
to rely on the availability of
a contractor anymore,” says
Abraham. Some of the mucking
out operations performed by
the telehandler are carried out
on a daily basis, but the bulk of
the work consists of periodic,
deeper cleans.
“It’s a very handy machine
to have around the farmyard,”
Abraham adds.
“As well as mucking out
sheds, we use it for lifting and
unloading things. It’s a very
compact machine, so it can
squeeze into small spaces.”
