Parts and sales back up is one area of the business that Bomford has really been pushing forward in the past couple of years . They saw the need for their parts operation to move forward in line with the ever increasing sales numbers .
A major asset to the team was the appointment of Sam Sharp in August 2016 . He has taken overall control and responsibility of the Parts Department , and parts sales . Sam joined the company with a history of successfully managing multiple parts outlets , and building strong sales teams to satisfy customer demands .
Sam has developed and strengthened relationships with both dealers and importers and has made a point of visiting as many as possible in person to develop open working relationships so that dealers can sell the Bomford range with complete confidence - in being able to provide immediate back up and service . Parts cannot be bought direct , all parts must be sourced and acquired via their network of dealers .
Farmstar is just one of many dealers he has worked closely with recently . Shaun Husler of Farmstar said , “ Since Sam came on board we have worked closely together to strengthen the Bomford parts offering , including specialist packages of Flails etc as well as Hydraulics and pumps etc .”
Sam has developed new parts plans , pricing structures , this has led to great availability and simplicity of ordering and general parts availability . He has completely scrapped the original pricing structure so now Bomford parts are extremely competitive against the cheaper , unnamed brands .
