Tim has recently been at Thainstone Auction Aberdeenshire and at Penrith. PETER’S youngest daugh- ter and most recent member of the family to join the business Courtney is an accomplished horse rider. May Day & Courtney was competing at The Horse of The Year show at Birmingham NEC placing 4th in the Coloured non-native pony of the year class. There were 20 competitors in the class, all of them have had to take 1st place across the country in other shows to get there, which means to get to The Horse Of The Year Show you really are com- peting with “the best of the best”. Courtney qualified at the Stoneleigh horse show. PARTS - The recently expanded racking has created a much larger area to store the large number of cabs we always have in stock and more importantly it vastly increases our huge amount of off the shelf parts. Every vehicle is logged, stripped and parts stored in order. When you ring up for a part now, instead of checking the yard, the right part is checked at the click of a mouse and can be paid for and despatched immediately. Thornton Breakers currently have thousands of parts in stock from a door hinge to full engines, gearboxes, chassis etc. Ever keen to support and help the Farming Community you will now see the familiar red and silver Thornton Breakers vehicles at many auction marts across the North including Bakewell, Newark, York, Wharfedale, Selby, Hawes, Leyburn, Holmfirth, Bentham, Gisburn, Lancaster, Skipton, Thirsk, Melton Mowbray.
