LONGEVITY IS KEY, WITH A
COMMITMENT TO EXCEL
Farmstar is seeped with history, having been established for nearly 30 years. They now have four depots
in Newark, Market Weighton, Brigg and their Head Office at Marr, Doncaster. They have also extended
their presence, to include offices at the York and Newark livestock markets. This enables customers to
collect pre ordered parts and also purchase general supplies. Customers can speak to fully experienced
Farmstar Sales personnel, who are able to discuss their requirements and business needs going forward.
FARMSTAR supplies many
leading brands of machinery
including Case, Manitou, Kver-
neland and Kubota, across the
depots.
Farmstar has evolved mas-
sively alongside the agricultural
industry over the years and has
continued to progress year on
year. The business has success-
fully grown due to their in-depth
knowledge of industry leading
machinery and equipment. This
knowledge sits alongside the
basic fundamental business prin-
ciples, which Farmstar started
out with, ensuring they maintain
a hands-on approach whilst
delivery first class Service and
Parts back up.
Having witnessed farming
families grow, Farmstar is proud
to say that many customers have
become friends over the years,
as well and business partner
and Farmstar is now working
with third generations on some
farms.

It is the longevity and trust
in Farmstar that has enabled
Andrew Waddington, Managing
Director and the whole team
across all four of the depots, to
push the business forward in
demanding economic times.
They run highly skilled, expe-
rienced Service teams at each
of the depots as well as Parts
departments. Going forward,
towards the end of this year,
Farmstar plans to integrate an
online Parts ordering system
on to their brand-new web-
site. Their dynamic website
has just been launched, having
been re-designed as part of
the company’s new Marketing
strategy. Facebook is also now
a direct selling route and gives
customers a daily insight in to
the business.
Farmstar’s phenomenal supplier
relationships enable the company
to offer regular customer incen-
tives, such as the recent online
offer on GPS bundles. Andrew
Waddington says “It is imperative
that the customers benefit imme-
diately, from all of the excellent
deals we are able to negotiate
with our suppliers.
“Showing these in real time on
social media is an excellent way
to do this and we feel the time is
right now for us to fully engage
with our customers via our online
presence. We have a Sales Team
which is stronger than it’s ever
been, and this is backed by Ser-
vice and Parts departments who
are 100% committed to first class
customer satisfaction. An out-
standing online presence would
complete our offering.”
Going forward Farmstar is excit-
ed about the new AFS technology
which will be available on the
CASE Axialflow combine harvest-
ers. Using the CASE guidance sys-
tems means less fuel, fewer inputs
and less time. Case IH RTK reliably
delivers a 2.5 cm pass-to-pass and
year-after-year accuracy and is
available as part of our Advanced
Farming Systems at Farmstar.
