Most new buildings need
some kind of planning
consent and YSB is well
placed to handle any design
and planning issues. The
experienced agricultural team
will advise on animal housing
requirements, crop storage
capacity, ventilation issues,
access requirements, cladding
materials and more to design
and build the ideal building for
your needs.
Meticulous attention is given
to groundworks and ensuring
safe and efficient foundations,
which consist of a concrete
“pad” which is excavated and
then poured with concrete

according to the building
specification. Into that concrete
holding down bolts are set
down which the building
columns will be bolted to in the
first phase of erection.
Buildings are manufactured
with hot rolled steel and this
can either be shotblasted, and
painted with quality gloss paint
or galvanized.
