Two powerful new high palatability rodenticides have been launched by
BASF this autumn so farmers can take the greatest possible advantage
of recent legislative changes enabling the most potent ‘single feed’
rodenticides to be used around as well as inside buildings.

Storm Secure block, both are
based on the most potent
rat killer, flocoumafen proven
effective in tackling even the
most broadly anticoagulant
resistant strains of rats and
mice.
Storm Pasta is a moist,
non-grain soft block for
general-purpose use. It
boasts exceptional rat and
mouse palatability even when
compared to a variety of other
pasta baits on the market.
Protected by an aromapermeable sachet, it has a

carefully balanced oil profile to
minimise seepage, coupled with
good resistance to humidity and
moisture, and stability under
extremes of heat and cold.
The soft block is especially
valuable in dry environments,
where competition from other
food sources is high, and with
populations reluctant to feed
on grain-based baits. Good
protection from spillage and the
weather makes it suitable for
use in a wide variety of outside
situations while it is easy
to secure in bait stations to
safeguard non-target species.
