RFS Engineering will remain in its
present building and is a vital part of the
agricultural repair and refurbishment
business run by engineer and dulcet
Scotsman Alan Hopwood. Alan is one of
those men you can ask “Can you make
one of these” and the answer is always
“Yes, of course”. He knows engines and
engineering inside out which means
refurbishing existing equipment holds no
fear. Ripon currently have 5 vintage trac-
tors in working order and Alan is working
on a 1935 John Deere model D.
During 2019, RFS Groundcare will be
extended to accommodate a larger
showroom and have increased workshop
facilities, able to repair and service all
garden machinery from a hedge trimmer
to a ride on lawn tractor.
