the bale sculptures would
not just brighten up the
route, they might also attract
sponsorship as they would
hopefully be seen on the TV
cameras. We also hoped that
all of the public who stopped
by to take pictures of them
might support in some way
towards the fundraising, so I
put together a Go Fund Me
page. It worked really well.
We had sponsorship from
farm machinery companies
Russells and Farmstar on
our tractor bale sculpture,
and sponsorships on the
three others from Kirby
Buildings Supplies, Agrovista,
Thomlinsons and 5 Star
Design.

“We used the Internet to find
designs and then tweaked them
a bit. The bale sculptures took
us about a day to put together
in the barn and another day
taking them out and putting them
in what we felt would be the
most prominent positions for TV
coverage. My schoolmates loved
