The new house would be next to the two barns he has just erected – having bought them for a knock-down price providing he dismantled and moved them in a weekend! He is always looking for new land that may have potential and is happy for his contracting side to grow further. There are ‘he is ready to go at the drop of a hat and will work until the job is done’ quite a few supportive farmers nearby who might welcome someone like Julian to do the big work for them. Both he and Linda will continue to grow and develop the business, and in time become debt-free which will leave a good business to hand down to the boys. But if they decided not to go into farming they could simply sell the business. Looking at the chirpy and enthusiastic William, however, I reckon he will enjoy farming just as much as his dad!
