There were a record number of sales and firm leads across all the manufacturers and this can be in no small part down to the fact that every manufacturer / supplier had their experts on hand along with a Ripon Farm specialist available on each stand or close by .
The Ripon Farm Open Days have a great following and are always much anticipated events . This is in clear evidence by the number of people you see across the two large halls , outside demo and display area and the hospitality area . Hospitality is very important at these events to enhance the overall experience . The order of the day is simple quality fayre and lots of it and indeed this is always the case with bacon sandwiches , beef sandwiches , chips , pizza , soup , tea , coffee , etc . The Ripon Farm Open Day wouldn ’ t be the same without Managing Director Geoff Brown who is the face and driving force behind Ripon Farm Services . Geoff is one of the busiest people on the day , making it his priority to talk to as many customers , new and existing , as possible . Geoff remains , as ever , hugely knowledgeable , and approachable .
Every sales team no matter what size is only as good as the back up service behind it , nowhere is this more important than at Ripon Farm Services and to that end a full complement of parts and service specialists were on hand at the
show to advise and help . This year has seen a real growth in the proactive side of servicing . A lot of new machinery now alerts you when service hours are reached and importantly highlights potential problems before they become serious and cause a breakdown . This can sometimes seem a little ‘ big brother ’ however it can save extremely valuable time and money by reacting promptly .
