There is a real buzz amongst this developing new team and with the new structure Andrew is able to both relish and see the young enthusiastic younger teams develop . Technicians come and go in all Agricultural Dealerships , which is why Farmstar are now putting together fresh new recruitment packages for them . Andrew and Tom love to coach and develop the sales guys and he now has more time to do it with Sam , the new GM and the rest of the SMT on board . Andrew is also now able to spend at least one day at Newark focussing on the Kubota business .
Service continues to be a major key strength of Farmstar and the Technicians continue to develop their skillsets with online training to extend their qualifications and knowledge . A key development on the service side is the MyCaseIH App . MyCaseIH , the new online space dedicated to the customer ’ s business and full operation ! It can be accessed all media , with all tools and information that customers need in order to manage their Farmstar fleet and access the new AFS Connect interface through one platform . With the recent rise in sales Farmstar have also appointed Antony Bull in to
the role of Group GPS and Telematics Specialist , which is a new position managing the sale , non-technical installation and operator / customer training of the product . The need for this position has become apparent due to the increased sales of the product and Antony will be key in assisting the sales department selecting the correct equipment for the customers ’ requirements across all the brands and being expert when it comes to advising the customers of the suitability and benefits of the kit .
Gaynor has been able to focus more on the operational side of the business with the appointment as I said earlier of Charlotte McFarland as Marketing Coordinator , she is a recent graduate from Harper Adams and brings much to the table . Her impact is already in evidence in many areas . Gaynor really pushed the social media and online side of the business forward when she first joined and Charlotte has continued to do so , not least increasing their Facebook following from 5000 to almost 10,000 ! She has also created a dedicated Kubota page for Newark “ Farmstar Kubota ” which is definitely worth looking at .
