is the Annual Open Day at
FARMSTAR which this year
took place on 15 January at
their main depot in Marr, near
Doncaster. Ian Wilkinson was
there.
The weather was typically
freezing but walking past
the impressive displays of
machinery and manufacturers
stands, I stepped into the
warmth of the main marquee
area and that familiar buzz of
friendly activity you always find
when visiting FARMSTAR to be

greeted by the orchestrator and
driving force behind the group,
Andrew Waddington. As ever,
Andrew’s signature smile and
firm handshake were there and
true to form he was busy as
ever, so our chat had to wait.
This gave me chance,
however, to walk around
the yard and chat to various
manufacturers and see the
usual varied number of
