SPALDINGS INVESTS
After a successful 2013,
Spaldings got off to a
flying start in 2014 with
investment in three key
areas of the business,
with satisfying customers’
needs at the heart of
these changes.
The company has grown
significantly over the last five
years and now employs 160
people in rural Lincolnshire.
The entire Sales Function,
covering both Agricultural
and Groundcare divisions
is now headed up by Sales
Director, Roger Chase,
previously Director of
Agricultural Sales. The
Telesales teams will continue
to expand in 2014.
Laura Pearson will head
up the Marketing Function,
including in-house digital and
print designers.

The Product Development
team at Spaldings plays a
key role: Nigel Whelan, Head
of Product Development
& Marketing says, “Our
intention is to offer a one
stop shop for farming and
groundcare businesses,
continually adding new
products to our range that
have either been requested
by customers or are new
products that we are
confident will benefit our
customer base.”
Patrick McGee has joined
Product Development as a
Trainee Product Engineer and
Max Ellis has been appointed
Product Support Technician
providing field customer
support.
