Bainbridge are gearing up for YAMS & 2024
THE build up to the first show of the year for the Bainbridge Engineering team has begun . After last year ’ s successful shows , with awards won at both the Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show ( YAMS ) and the Great Yorkshire Show last year , it will be hard to beat but we like a challenge !
The award winning ‘ event of the year ’, the Yorkshire agricultural machinery show , also known as ‘ YAMS ’ for short
is a fantastic 1 day show and a brilliant platform for farmers / contractors to view the latest agricultural equipment on show from businesses all over the country . With over 250 trade stands attending , there is lots to see . There is always a fantastic atmosphere , and we love nothing more than seeing familiar faces return onto our stand year after year to see us and see what we have to offer . It ’ s also great to welcome new
faces onto the stand too , as our customer base grows .
Last year we launched our newest product at YAMS , which was our folding tine bale spike . This new design of bale spike has been designed and made with safety in mind . The tines can be folded inwards manually using a pin design for simplicity and easiness to lock them in place . A safety feature that is not complicated to use which does appeal to many of our customers . This new design allows you to take away the danger when travelling on roads – eliminating the danger towards other road users or when feeding up . When one tine or both tines are not in use , they can be kept folded inward not endangering animals , people , or anything else . These , like any of our products are made to order .
On our stand we will also have a selection of our other agricultural equipment items , such as our buckets , extendable bale spikes , muck forks and our rotary sweepers . As well
as our fabrication work , we specialise in feeders . We offer a comprehensive service in repairs , refurbishments , and sales of feeders , mainly focusing on Keenan and HiSpec feeders . We will provide you , the customer with a feeder , so you are not out of action while your feeder is in our workshop . If you are in the market for a second-hand feeder , we can help you find a machine to suit your needs and requirements . Whether you need to feed into troughs or straight onto the floor , or if you need to chop or mix , we will do our best to help . We have
recently started making wear edge strips for feeder rotas . These are universal and made from 6mm plate . These came about as we were struggling to source any ourselves so thought why not make them instead ! They are now available to purchase .
