The start of the new agricultural season is upon us as we go to print with our December / January issue . Take a look inside this issue for previews on a number of new year starter shows including the Farmstar Group annual open day and the Ripon Farm Services open event . Both events kick off the agricultural calendar in fine style .

LOOK out for our warm-up feature on YAMS at York , which is another of the top annual shows taking place in early February . No doubt most of you will be attending LAMMA at the NEC , another show which really showcases all that is available in agriculture , all now under cover so we can take shelter from the wintery weather .
