There’s life in that there Hill!
Chris Berry talks with Ashley Tyson of Stepney Hill Farm, Scarborough.

Bangkok as an 18-year old - and
then taken another to Australia
with your last £80 it’s a pretty
fair bet that deciding your
own future isn’t going to be a
problem.
Ashley Tyson recalls those
times fondly but it is his future
at Stepney Hill Farm on the
edge of Scarborough that is his
first thought today. He and his
wife, Nicola have transformed
the farm that his grandfather
Jim, father, John and uncle,
Alan set up when they arrived
in 1966. It’s now home to sheep,
cattle, pigs, a butcher’s shop,
bakery, events centre, wedding
venue and café/tea room.
