Show pulls in
the crowds
More than 7,000 people came from
far and wide to get the lowdown on
the latest products and advances
in agricultural technology at the
2015 Midlands Machinery Show.
»»Visitors were treated
to technology from all areas of
the agricultural industry as well
as specialist seminars at the
Newark Showground event.
Organised by the Newark
and Nottinghamshire
Agricultural Society, The
Midlands Machinery Show is
now in its second year and
attracted more than 200 traders
at the two day event.

manager, said: “We have been
delighted with the response
both from people trading
and those visiting the show
this year. It’s brilliant to see
how popular the show is
becoming.
“There was a great
atmosphere around the
showground and even though
we have more exhibitors and
visitors this year, we pride
ourselves on the intimate
feel of the show and the
networking opportunities this
brings.
“We would like to thank
the hundreds of traders and
exhibitors who signed up to
Midlands Machinery Show for
2015 and to all the visitors.”
THE WINNERS
Supplier of agricultural
machinery and accessories,
Lincolnshire-based Agri-Linc,
won the award for Best Overall
Stand in Show and Best
Agricultural Stand in Show.
Agri-Linc partner, Ben
Whyles, said: “It’s the first time
we’ve been here and I’ve been
shocked to see how many
visitors have come along.

“The show has been very
good for the company and
hopefully also worthwhile for all

Best Non Machinery Stand
was awarded to Sleafordbased Drayton Welding & Tool
Connections.
Dates for 2016 are 23 & 24
November, and the show will be
open to visitors between 8am
and 5.30pm both days.
