is CE Marked from 1st July 2014.
Remember it will be a criminal offence
after that to supply a non-CE marked
building and as the buyer of one you may
also be liable.

Q. What is this going to do
to the price of Buildings?
A. They’re going to be more expensive.
This is inevitable as the CE marking
process is a costly exercise for us frame
manufacturers to undergo and that cost
will have to be passed on in the sale
price of the building. The re-classification
of buildings will also have an upward
effect on prices as it will force more
buildings into “Class 1” which as it is a
higher design standard, costs more to
produce.
