Great Yorkshire Show
Successful show for busy
Bainbridge Engineering
Every year Cyril and Wendy Bainbridge always come up with
something quirky to add that extra wow factor to their stand
at the Great Yorkshire Show, and this year was no different.
» THE ENTERPRISING
couple, who run agricultural
specialists, Bainbridge
Engineering, came up with
the larger the life “Bainbridge
Shopping basket” – a must
when shopping for those allimportant engineering parts!
As ever, the stand was set out
to welcome customers old
and new to view their many
products and enjoy that good
old Bainbridge hospitality.
There were more than 20
items on their stand this year,
all made in their workshop
in Cold Kirby, near Thirsk,
showing off their high standard
of fabrication work. Their
buckets are made to suit
customers requirements, they
build everything to order, the
brackets, size, width, overspill
sides for grain buckets. “What
the customer needs, the
customer gets!” says Cyril,
“and absolutely everything is
100 percent British made by
our team here. That means we
can ensure the quality of all the
goods we produce.”
Muckforks and bale grabs,
again are all made to the
customer’s requirements.
At the Show, their own BRS,
Bainbridge Rotary Sweeper
was again a great hit, with this
year showing their new small
brush compatible with Skid
Steer size loaders.
This year also saw the
introduction of the new
Magnetic Pick-up Tool for
forklifts. It sits on the front of
the forklift picking up metal
from yards, hence stops metal
from getting into tyres and
silage clamps, and therefore
stops getting into your cattle.
Ideal for workshops, yards
and cattle yards, it has a
magnetic area of 1220mm x
80mm and weighs 10.80kg.
At an affordable price of just
£175 + VAT, this item could
be a valuable asset to any
business.
Cyril and Wendy always do
well at the GYS as they can
always be relied upon to have
a customer friendly stand, great
products coupled with that
Bainbridge Bonhomie and a
cup of tea!
